Whether you like Bossa Nova, Metal, Classical, or Country, the Fire.fm Firefox Add-on can help you find music you love when you’re online. Fire.fm is a music toolbar that lets you create your own custom radio stations from the vast catalog of songs and artists offered by popular online music service Last.fm. Using Fire.fm, I can listen to Jack Johnson and Snow Patrol, plus my favorite U2 hits from the 80s in seconds.
Before you can start using Fire.fm, you will need to sign up for a Last.fm account. You can create an account by clicking on the icon labeled “Log in to Last.fm icon” on the toolbar.
To set up your stations, just click on the icon to the left of the play button and select “Start a Station.” Fire.fm will start playing music from the station within seconds.
To listen to recently played stations, select “recent stations” from the same menu. Fire.fm also lets you hear music from related artists so the possibilities for discovering new songs and artists you’ll love are pretty good.
So rock your Firefox and your day
with Fire.fm!
