What’s the weather like where you are? Here in the Bay Area, the long and rainy Winter seems to be giving way to Spring tulips and lots of sunshine. But, since April showers are less than a week away, I’m paying more attention than ever to my trusty WeatherBug Firefox Add-on.
WeatherBug is a simple add-on that shows your local weather. To get started with WeatherBug, you will be prompted to “set your location” upon install.
Once you set your location, WeatherBug will appear in the bottom-right section of your Firefox status bar. From here, WeatherBug provides you with live weather from your city (52.2 F in SF) and a 3-day snapshot of your forecast represented by weather-themed icons.
WeatherBug can provide weather conditions for cities all around the world, so whether you’re in San Francisco, Seoul, or London, you can use it to plan your days accordingly. Just click on the gear icon labeled with a green “i” to change your location settings.
Clicking on the temperature (52.2F) or any of the weather-themed icons will display a module showing more details about the 3-day forecast.
So, don’t get rocked by the weather and give WeatherBug a try.
Note: WeatherBug is an ad-supported add-on and has been tested and confirmed to not contain malware.
