I first mentioned Personas on St. Patrick’s Day. They’re a special type of add-on that allows you to customize the look of your Firefox in a single click. After my last Persona post, Mozilla’s Ryan Doherty kindly reminded me that there are not a mere 30,000 personas, but over 80,000 Personas designed by the Mozilla Community. And now, that number has increased to 125,000. Wow. And they can all be tried on automatically as you mouse over the images, or “worn”, more permanently.
So what’s today’s occasion? Earth Day, of course!
After trying on daffodils, lunar eclipses, wolves, penguins, butterflies, bees, two of the four seasons, dolphins, orcas, three different owls (images and illustrations), hedgehogs and foggy forests, I settled on the Red-Eye Green Tree Frogs. They peek perfectly over my search bar.
As nations all across the world take some time to celebrate the planet we all share and love, why not dress up your Firefox to the same tune? With almost 300 pages of the Personas Nature Category, you’re sure to find one you like.
