Personas are easy-to-use backgrounds that let you personalize the look of your Firefox. If they sound familiar, it’s probably because we’ve talked about Personas before on Rock Your Firefox. I reviewed the St. Patrick’s Day Personas as a way to keep your Firefox green, and the Nature Personas, in honor of Earth Day.

There are over 135,000 original Personas, with everything from album covers to photographs and illustrations. If you’re a fan of something, chances are there’s a Persona for the team, activity, place or theme you love. Or just pick designs that appeal to you, whether it’s because they’re pretty, thrilling, mysterious, soothing, or sentimental. The options are endless.

But with so many choices, sometimes it’s hard to know where to start. Personas Rotator gives you a way around that. Install it, turn it on, and go about your day. As long as you’re online, you don’t have to do a thing, and you’ll see all the options for dressing up your Firefox.

To get started with the Personas Rotator, you will first need to install Personas Plus which is the tool Firefox provides to manage Personas. When Personas Rotator showcases a background you like go Tools -> Personas -> the name of the current persona, at the top of the list -> View Details. From there you’ll see a button to let you “Wear this Persona”:

If you’re a regular Personas user with a My Favorites collection, Personas Rotator will rotate the Personas you love best. And no matter which collections you’re previewing, you can speed up or slow things down and preview Personas for as long as you like.

Even if you never thought you’d use a Persona, I’d recommend trying Personas Rotator just to see what you find.
