What are Your Favorite Firefox Add-ons?

Wednesday, Jun 30, 2010

Did you know add-ons have been downloaded almost 2 Billion times since we started tracking statistics in 2005? It’s a huge milestone for us, and it’s fast approaching!

We would like to celebrate this special milestone with you, the Rock Your Firefox community, by asking you to let us know your favorite add-ons so that we can consider them for the Best of 2B Add-ons Collection. We’ll be adding some of the most popular add-ons of all-time to this collection as well.

We’ll be sharing much more data about this milestone later, but in the mean time, please let us know your favorite add-ons by filling out this quick community poll.

Post from Julie Shin Choi, who uses the Yoono, Fire.fm, and WeatherBug add-ons everyday See all posts by Julie Choi.

I love Adblock Plus! NO pop-ups! Colorful Tabs & Forecast Fox are both mainstays. I also moderate a Yahoo group so ModPlugin rates the highest of all!

It’s not an Add-on per se, but I also LOVE the search engine choices! We use IMDB constantly. Many others come in handy – Wikipedia, Webster & Urban Dictionary get their uses also.

We also use the Google Toolbar. :)
    Congrats on the 2B goal!!!

As someone relatively new to coding firebug has shone a light on an otherwise murky world. So for that reason I vote
Firebug to be the best. Thank you.

I vote for FacePAD: FaceBook Photo Album Downloader. The best for when I want copies of Friend’s or Family’s Photo Albums. I don’t have to DL them one by one :)
