Offer Assistant

Shop smart with help finding deals, retrieving passwords, completing forms, saving payment confirmation and remembering to pay bills.

What do nine pounds of prunes, a souped-up set of ceramic brake pads, and The Best of the Velvet Underground have in common?

That’s right. You can buy them all online.

Chances are, they’re available at multiple retailers and priced to compete. Spend 20 minutes to 20 days online and you just might track down all the competitors. Plus, it’s been said that if you bury a pair of scissors after tracing a dotted line in the air above your flowerbed, you’ll find a coupon code and save even more.

Meet the easier way: Offer Assistant

Installation is simple, and you never even know that Offer Assistant is part of your browser, until you start a shopping session with a search on Bing, Google or Yahoo! When you do that, you’ll get an automatic hint about deals and coupons in the form of an icon just to the left of your search results:

If you start your shopping experience in an online store, Offer Assistant still comes to your aid, suggesting coupon codes while you’re in the checkout line:

You can also use features that store payment confirmations, fill in forms, manage and pay bills, and remember passwords:

Whether you shop online once a year or once a day, Offer Assistant could be your way to save.

That seems like a solid solution for shopping online. I am going to install it right now. Just a question, could you suggest a similar “ROCKING” add-on for online form completion. Something like Roboform may be. I know by mentioning roboform, I am asking too much but who knows, our dear Firefox might have it for us :)

Roboform is available for Firefox but you need to go to their website in order to download and install it. Unfortunately they haven’t hosted the plug-in on mozilla.org. I hope that helps.

        You might also try Sxipper:

Kill the disco era-style page. There’s retro, and then there’s cheesy. This swings latter.

Why do I have to keep re-installing Adobe Flash Player
and Firefox plug-ins? I have already installed Adobe several
times, and Firefox tells me to do it again! Even after I have
installed Adobe, it still does work, and I am asked to install
it again! It’s a waste of time and I still can’t get what I’m after!

I think you meant to say ‘it still doesn’t work,’ if that is the case, I’m sorry you’re having issues. You can find help from real humans at http://support.mozilla.com .
