Drag, drop and arrange pictures and create albums, then upload to your favorite photo service.

Saying cheese used to be as easy as you please. Every suburban street corner played host to a Fotomat just itching to process those adorable snapshots of kiddos half buried in shag carpet,  unwrapping Rock ‘Em Sock ‘Em Robots.

Photos eventually came delivered in a thick envelope containing… yet another envelope! After much peeling of paper, you found a fat stack of prints packed with last month’s memories.

But now today’s toothy grin is tomorrow’s screensaver. Keeping up to speed with that, the Fotofox Add-on lives in the corner of your browser and gets photos and albums online in a jiffy.

After you install the add-on, you’ll see an icon to the left of your location bar:

Click on the icon and a pane opens to let you upload photos right in your browser:

First select an online photo service and sign in:

Then you can drag and drop images right into the pane for easy uploading:

You can organize photos into albums, upload to multiple sites and keep things easy in all ways with Fotofox.

Is it working in Firefox 4 beta 6? and more importantly, does it support Photo Bucket? the image here does not show Photo Bucket in the list.

      Hello,

      Fotofox works with Firefox 3.6.

Many add-ons aren’t working with Firefox 4 betas yet. Because so much changes during beta, developers often make compatibility updates only with final releases of Firefox. That said, you never know. Always good to check.

Fotofox works with Flickr, Kodak EasyShare Gallery, Marela, Photobox, Tabblo, Smugmug, Zooomr, and 23hq.

      Thanks for reading!

I’d like to try it–if it included Snapfish for photo finishing, etc.
